A day in the woods foraging for wild foods.On this seasonal course we will be focusing on edible fungi and their identification. The course will also cover some of the other wild edibles of Autumn and how they can be preserved for the winter months ahead. We will also look at the preparation of some in season wild game/fish and learn some ways to cook it over an open fire.
The course fee includes lunch, which we will cook together using wild ingredients combined with some extras from the store cupboard.
